About Us
We're very cake focused here. Making delicious layer cakes, loaf cakes & seasonal bakes to be enjoyed alongside excellent coffee and specially blended teas, or to order for birthdays & celebrations. Other bakes in our repertoire include cookies, scones, buns, brownies & the occasional tart. We use the best ingredients available to us and support local farmers and suppliers wherever possible. From organic, free-range eggs to lots of lovely fruit and vegetables grown right here on the farm where the bakery is situated. Given our access to such great produce, we also make a lot of our own jams, chutneys and cordials.
Our hours vary throughout the year depending on what's happening on the farm. Typically we are closed during January, returning on Saturdays from February & beginning on Sundays from June. We generally bake to order year round on Thursday through to Saturday or Sunday depending on the time of year. And often add speciality products for special occasions such as Mother's day, Easter & at Christmas. You will see this availability and variety in our online shop and reflected in the calendar during ordering.
We're lucky to share this space with some other businesses well worth visiting. Meopham PYO produce delicious fruit juice with their produce which you can pick up or enjoy in the bakery. They generally have pick your own available beginning on weekends from June through to October & back again with the sale of Christmas trees in December. You can find out more by visiting Meopham PYO – Fresh Kent Produce
Nikki of Studio HOIME (Here's One I Made Earlier) shares our space with her studio where she expertly crafts gifts and workshops to support mindfulness and creativity among her customers. You will often find Nikki in store where you can pick her brains or purchase a lovely gift from macrame dog leads to terrariums and you can book into one of her fantastic workshops hosted all over Kent. Visit her Instagram to find out more @Studio_hoime .
Friendly dogs are welcome here but we do ask that they are kept on a short lead and kept off of the crops. We don't take reservations & we serve on disposable cups and plates during the height of picking season so that we can keep a speedy service running. We never cut corners on the quality of our produce and that is something that we keep very consistent. Other things may change throughout the year due to the nature of our location and business. Details of which we try to keep clear and updated via our socials. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to keep abreast.
